Reflections
I have had many wonderful experiences of working with students of all ages and having experienced and knowledgeable mentors throughout my student teaching experience. My e-Portfolio serves as a summary of these experiences, as well as a springboard for my future opportunities as a music educator. Throughout the semester I kept a weekly journal of not just WHAT was happening during the day, but HOW I felt I was doing, how I responded to the students and my observations of how my co-ops handled certain situations, musically and behaviorally. If you are interested in reading a couple sample journal entries, please feel free to contact me!
Below are four reflections I have taken throughout this semester. The first was a general review of my experience in the elementary general music/choral classroom. The second was a brief description about what I learned during the time I conducted my case study. The third reflection details my experience with a Unit Plan. The fourth reflection consists of thoughts about my whole experience as a student teacher.
